The apartment has an open plan living/dining area furnished in a contemporary style. It comes with all of the mod cons you’d expect to make your trip as relaxing as possible.
This Matchroom apartment has an open plan living and dining area and is furnished in a contemporary style. There's a dining table and chairs which can comfortably seat 4 people. There's a sofa bed and armchair to relax in after a day on the golf greens, along with a wall mounted television. Providing the perfect space for dining and chilling out. The lounge leads onto an open terrace with exterior seating overlooking the gardens. The terrace windows providing the room with ample natural light during the day. There is a fully equipped kitchen, which comes with all of the mod cons you'd expect for a self catering holiday. Including among others a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and coffee marker.
The master bedroom has a double bed and comes with closet space for your clothes. It also enjoys an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a bath and shower. The master bedroom also leads out onto another balcony which is shared with the second bedroom and is also furnished with additional seating. The second bedroom has twin beds and access to the family bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Matchroom Country Club, overlooking Mijas Golf is close to everything, but it's in quiet and friendly place. You will have access to the communal gardens and a communal pool.
A rental car is recommended if you wish to explore the area. However, if a driving holiday is not on the agenda you can get a taxi from the hotel reception, which offer a fantastic service and are inexpensive. The resort is fully enclosed to ensure guests enjoy their stay with privacy guaranteed. Matchroom is perfectly positioned to visit Fuengirola, one of the most popular beach towns on the coast. Children will especially enjoy a day at the aqua park and the zoo.
Matchroom Country Club is less than a 30-minute drive from Malaga Airport. Marbella and Torremolinos are also located a short drive away. From Malaga airport you can take a train to Fuengirola (the main railway station) and from there it's approximately 7 minutes by taxi. This would cost €10 euros.
We do recommend a car however if you opt to not hire a car then you will have the option of local taxi companies plus UBER which are all excellent value and easy to use.
Please note: That you must climb stairs. There are stairs to reach this apartment.

The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed and has access to its own ensuite with a walk in shower. There is also a dishwasher to make washing up as easy as possible. Then you can enjoy some al fresco dining on the terrace overlooking the golf course. This is a wonderful space. Large and shaded and equipped with a BBQ, it is furnished with an exterior table and can comfortably seat 4 people. The sofa bed can sleep another 2 guests, meaning a total of 6 can stay. Perfect for families or golf groups. The living room is a comfortable and bright space with a HD TV for those lazy afternoons. This property is at the heart of golfing on the Mijas coast. Whether you want to hit the greens or the beach, Island Riviera Golf is the perfect place to stay. The complex has a peaceful communal garden and a large communal pool. There is an indoor pool available during the winter months and a small gymnasium in block 4. You are only ever a couple of minutes walk to the golf course. The beach is less than a 10 minute drive and you're near many of La Cala de Mijas trendy bars and restaurants such as Max Beach. Both Marbella and Fuengirola are around a 20 minutes drive in either direction. From Fuengirola you can get the train all the way to the cultural gem that is Malaga if you want to venture out further during your stay.
